Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyMuse.Studio, the AI writing platform available at mymuse.studio ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The closed beta

MyMuse.Studio is currently a closed beta. Access requires an invitation from the MyMuse.Studio team. During the beta period:

  • Features may change, be added, or be removed without prior notice.
  • The Service is provided "as-is" for evaluation and feedback.
  • Pricing shown on this site reflects our intended public-launch pricing and is subject to change before public release.
  • Beta access may be revoked at the discretion of the MyMuse.Studio team.

Your account

To use MyMuse.Studio, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Contact us immediately at hello@mymuse.studio if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your content

You own your manuscript. Any text you bring into MyMuse.Studio remains your intellectual property. The platform does not claim ownership over your creative work.

By uploading content to MyMuse.Studio, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit that content as needed to provide the Service — specifically, to generate muse responses and to let your muses search and read your manuscript. This licence exists only to operate the Service and does not extend to any other use.

You confirm that you have the right to upload any content you add to MyMuse.Studio and that it does not infringe on any third party's rights.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or to other users' accounts.
  • Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the Service.
  • Use automated tools to access the Service in ways that place an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure.

AI-generated content

MyMuse.Studio provides AI-generated feedback and responses to assist your writing. This content is advisory. Your muses help you think — they do not replace your judgment. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on muse responses.

The Service is designed so that muses do not generate prose intended to replace your own words. The responsibility for your final manuscript remains entirely yours.

Billing and payments

During the closed beta, billing terms (if any) are communicated individually to beta participants. At public launch, the pricing described on the Pricing page will apply. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription charges are billed in advance monthly. One-time purchases and muse packages are charged at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to revise pricing before public launch. Beta participants will be notified of changes before they take effect.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@mymuse.studio. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice, at our discretion.

On account closure, your manuscript and personal data will be deleted from our systems as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MYMUSE.STUDIO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is located. Any disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction. If you are unsure which law applies, please contact us.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will notify active users by email.
